None of the drinking-water system makers we checked puts seven plates of seven different metals into a unit with independent current control on every channel. Everything we found runs either on inert electrodes, which release nothing into the water, or on a single soluble plate with no control at all.

Meltwater is the benchmark nature brings water to on its own. According to the developers, AQUANTIS recreates that structure inside the unit.
The key difference is that the structure is built without breaking anything first. The unit works gently, at a low current, and the water settles back into its original organisation by itself, the way a mountain stream does flowing through rock as it melts.

Two levels of background processing
Beyond the mineral composition, a second layer runs inside the unit — the sound layer. A separate emitter with a hi-fi-grade audio path works in the background during the preparation cycle and sets the rhythm of the process.

Schumann frequency generator
7.83 Hz is the fundamental mode of the Schumann resonance. An electromagnetic phenomenon in the cavity between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere, predicted by the physicist Winfried Schumann in 1952 and confirmed experimentally in 1960.
It is a real physical phenomenon, and the generator reproduces precisely that frequency.
Pyotr Gariaev's programmable tonal patterns
The second level works in the high-frequency range and is built on the tuning-fork principle: resonance sets the tone rather than forcing it.
The set of patterns is defined in software and changes together with the recipe.

In units with a single multi-alloy plate every metal in the alloy runs on a shared current. What exactly went into the water, and how much, depends on the conductivity of that particular water, its temperature and the state of the electrode surface. There is nothing to control it with: one channel, one mode and a timer.
In AQUANTIS each of the seven plates has its own current-control channel. The current is set in software, to the milliamp, separately for each metal and for its own duration. That is what the five recipes are: not five timers, but five different sets of currents.
Hence the key practical property: any channel can be switched off. Need a composition without silver — switch silver off. A single-plate device cannot do this in principle.

Silicon — a systemic element
An element with a high dipole moment that acts in the body as a link between systems.
The notion that silicon compounds are biologically inert was refuted by the work of Professor M. G. Voronkov (1921–2014), a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, creator of silatrane chemistry and one of the founders of bio-organosilicon chemistry. His monograph “Silicon and Life” summarised the data on the role of silicon in living systems.
In water, silicon exists as orthosilicic acid — the only form that is absorbed well. About 50% of ingested silicon is absorbed from water, whereas the silicon in grains and vegetables is present as poorly soluble silica. As a result, drinking water accounts for 20–30% of daily silicon intake while making up a negligible share of the diet by mass.
That is exactly why the silicon plate sits second in the AQUANTIS electrode block, right after magnesium.

Upkeep comes down to two operations: replacing the plates as they are consumed, and descaling.

What people ask most often
Osmosis solves the “remove the excess” problem, and solves it well. But it also removes what you need — calcium, magnesium, silicon. AQUANTIS solves a different problem: putting back into water what belongs there. Osmosis also needs cartridges four times a year; here there are no cartridges — only the plates are consumed, and they are replaced by actual state rather than by calendar.
